Vancouver 2010 10th Anniversary Identity and Celebration

Design & Creative Direction

On February 22, 2020 The Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Committees celebrated the 10-Year Anniversary of the Games and their lasting legacy. Through the Vancouver 2010 Celebration Gala, the Canadian Olympic Foundation raised nearly a million dollars for the next generation of Team Canada athletes as they continue on their path to the podium. 

The Celebration included a content and communications plan executed throughout the month of February, a family-friendly Fan Festival, and a Gala to both celebrate the achievements of Vancouver 2010 Team Canada athletes and bring together key sport stakeholders to raise funding and support for future Team Canada athletes. Leveraging the nostalgic branding of the Vancouver 2010 Games I led the development of a 10th anniversary mark inclusive of the Canadian Paralympic Team mark and Paralympic Games mark along with the development of an identity toolkit executed across a wide of communication, marketing and sales materials in digital, print and out of home advertising along with the design of the design of the gala space and on screen content, motion graphics and videos.
