After joining the Canadian Olympic Committee's (COC) newly created, small-but-mighty Brand Team as the sole creative member, I became responsible for the COC and Team Canada’s brand guidelines and visual identity system, including all brand extensions and executions. After fully immersing into the brand, and helping to establish a new strategy, positioning and brand platform called "Be Olympic," I led the creation of a design strategy and brand guidelines, translating several outdated pdf documents to a web-based platform that provides the most current branding, accessibility compliance and newly developed digital style guide. These guidelines have been refined and adopted to serve as Team Canada's "always on" look and feel, and were used to refresh the interiors of the COC's head offices, on stationery and communication materials, in digital graphics, a website refresh on and a newly developed Team Canada app. The guidelines now serve as the basic framework for all Team Canada campaigns and brand extensions.
