The last Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame induction was held in 2014 in Calgary, and our team's mission was to welcome the Class of 2019 to the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame by igniting a renewed energy for the next generation of athletes and Team Canada fans and delivering a premium experience to the 2019 inductees.

Our creative journey began by revisiting the logo and identity with a marketing partner integration. Using the previous mark as our foundation, we simplified this iteration to allow the addition of the presenting partner, added flexibility for scalability, language and induction-specific variations, and amplified the gold in print, digital and motion. The design toolkit included leveraging the oval shape to highlight the inductees through a variety of graphic assets and also became the shape of the newly designed trophy. For the system, we considered a variety of executions in the lead-up to, during and after the induction ceremony, which included uses for print, social and web, out of home, video, animation, event, stage and broadcast for the ceremony that was held at the Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto.
